Saints Sign two CFL players to Help Bolster Defense

On Wednesday, the Saints signed defensive back Forrest Hightower and linebacker Adam Bighill to contracts. Hightower (24yr old), played two seasons in the CFL, and won the CFL Grey Cup Championship with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2016. Bighill (28yrs old), played in the CFL for six years. He was a CFL all-star four times, and was the CFL’s most outstanding defensive player in 2015. The Saints defense was ranked 27th overall this past season, so they need help from anywhere they can get it. This isn’t this first time the Saints have signed players from the CFL. Defensive Backs Delvin Breaux and Erik Harris both played for the Saints this past season.
