Hawks hand Pelicans second straight loss

The Atlanta Hawks defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 99-94 on Thursday to hand the Pelicans their second loss in a row. The Hawks were led by Dennis Schroder, who recorded 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. The Pelicans had four players in double digits, but were limited by a 36% shooting percentage. Anthony Davis recorded 20 points and 19 rebounds, but was only 7/20 from the field.  This was an off night for AD, something that the Pelicans can rarely afford to have. On the bright side for the Pelicans, Buddy Hield continued to improve, finishing with 15 points (4/9 from three), 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Up next for the Pelicans is the Boston Celtics, a team that has won four of their last five games.
